TPV TRANSMISSION RECORD // ABOUT THE OUTPOST

SIGNAL SOURCE

Long before anyone was listening, the Outpost was transmitting. No signposts, no charts, no marketing plan. Just a signal — low-powered, stubborn, beautiful — beaming through static from a remote outpost nobody remembered. For years, the broadcast drifted out into the dark, unclaimed. Then something shifted. The recordings started getting through. That’s where we come in.

TPV Records is the continuation of that signal. What began as an abandoned transmission is now a living, breathing label and radio station — still off the grid, still non-commercial, still committed to the strange, the soulful, and the overlooked. The Outpost may no longer be manned, but the broadcast continues.

WHAT WE BELIEVE.

  • Inclusion, always. There’s no right way to love music. Come as you are — deep heads, beginners, record hoarders, late-night listeners, and everyone in between.
  • Non-judgement. No cool-club mentality. No one’s keeping score. If it speaks to you, it speaks to us.
  • Non-commercialism. This isn’t a brand. It’s a community. No paid placements, no forced growth, no hype cycles. Just sound.
  • Love, above all. Real, human, messy, obsessive love — for music, for makers, for connection.
  • Roots over trends. We don’t follow scenes, but we honour where we came from. DIY ethics, dusty records, pirate radio, late-night exchanges — that spirit lives on here.

A HOME FOR THE MARGINS

We are a home for music that doesn’t chase attention, and for people who care deeply about sound — how it moves, how it distorts, how it tells the truth. We release records, share DJ sets, publish strange logs, and shine a light on artists who operate in the margins.

If you’re looking for polish or playlists built to please, you won’t find it here. But if you’re drawn to the quiet crackle of something real — welcome.

TPV is still the Outpost — a quiet place beyond the noise where people like us find each other. Pull up a chair, plug in, and stay a while.
